YOU BELONG HERE POSTERS
An apolitical, pro-American campaign, the You Belong Here poster was designed following the 2016 election as a display of unity between all Americans. Since then, the poster has been adopted both nationally and internationally, as well as translated into more than fifteen languages.
LOVE WHERE YOU LIVE PINS
I firmly believe that South Jordan, Utah is the best city in the state. I'm so committed to this idea that in early 2018 I launched a campaign called Love Where You Live. These pins reflected pride in different neighborhoods around South Jordan, as well as a sense of pride on Utah itself. This campaign also introduced the people's South Jordan symbol, a public domain set of imagery designed to be used by businesses and individuals to demonstrate city pride. Bagged pins were available in locations throughout the city, with an open box of free pins in the Mayor's Office at City Hall for visitors to take.
SOUTH JORDAN, UTAH CITY FLAG
In the Fall of 2016, Austin served as the head of an exploratory committee on behalf of the city of South Jordan, Utah. The goal of this committee was to explore graphic design possibilities for a new city flag, while still incorporating city iconography.
While the change to a new flag was ultimately postponed due to budget issues, the designs from this proposal have found their way into the city of South Jordan in some surprising ways, and are expected to continue to reappear in the future.

MAKE AMERICA KIND AGAIN PINS
One of the most dominant concepts in cultural psychology right now is the idea that Americans have become inherently less kind to one another than in past generations. To this extent, the Make America Kind Again campaign was created. Our goal is to promote kindness and unity in a time of great political divides by emphasizing the need for neutral, compassionate listening and behavior. These pins were made available free of charge in South Jordan, UT starting in late March 2018.
GOLDEN FIELDS ELEMENTARY
In late 2017, Austin was contacted to provide direction and guidance towards the visual identity of a new elementary school in South Jordan, Golden Fields Elementary.
CAMP OQUISOJO MATERIALS
A non-profit community service organization centered out of South Jordan, Utah, Camp Oquisojo requires daily graphic design elements for each day of the month, as well as promotional materials throughout the remainder of the year. Some of these can be viewed on the group's organizing Facebook page.
UTILITY BOX ART
I was approached by a member of the LiveDAYBREAK arts committee to create a proposal for the utility box set across the street from Eastlake Elementary School. My goal was to create something that was goofy, fun, and kid-accessible. The idea of a very large tank of fish seemed like an obvious one, and the cat was created upon request of the committee. Within hours of installation, the boxes had quickly become a local favorite.
